I downloaded the app and plan to work through it. I am not a heavy or daily drinker but would like to make it 30 days and I figured this can be some encouragement. |

I did this about 4 years ago - I was quite a heavy drinker, and it had been getting heavier over the past decade (40s to 50s) and used The Alcohol Experiment 30 day inline program to stop drinking, fairly rapidly, and very effectively. It wasn't terribly hard. I didn't make a big deal about it and start saying things like "I'm sober 55 days and counting" or anything like that. But I just decided I wasn't interested in drinking, and didn't drink alcohol for three years.
Last year, I did have a exactly three drinks I believe. A glass of wine with dinner, a small sip of cognac, and a half glass of champagne with NYE dinner. I didn't start becoming a social drinker again, and mostly I'm still quite satisfied with my decision that I am generally not someone who drinks alcohol. It's better for me and my body. |

No. I did the 30 day experiment 4 years ago. I still choose to drink alcohol on occasion. My intake however has gone down from about 4-6 glasses of wine per week to maybe 2-5 glasses per month. I feel great and totally in control of my intake. |
