2 people just "uninvited" from our flight

We are on a plane, second and final leg of our trip, which is overcrowded and they had to check bags for people because overhead bins are full. And tempers were flaring because people didnt want to vheck their bags. I saw the flight attendant speak to someone 3 times. I heard her say, "I've talked to you about this before." Eventually, 2 people got up and left, walked off the plane.
The Captain just announced they were "uninvited from our flight" Wonder what they did??? And really, just want to get where we are going to start our vacation! |

| Sounds like they refused to check their bags. They can't fly with a suitcase on their laps so they were kicked off. |

There is almost no way a gate checked bag would be scanned or sniffed. It already made it through the TSA checkpoint, so in theory there are no weapons or explosives inside. It goes straight into the cargo hold from the gate. I'll bet they just got fixated on not checking and decided to "hold the line" no matter what. Just be glad you didn't have to wait for law enforcement. |

| It's pretty common to not want to check gifts, special holiday outfits, etc. because it would suck to have those things lost. I wouldn't miss my flight over it, personally, but maybe they hoped to be rebooked. |

| They may have had valuables in there. Jewelry, expensive photo equipment, Chanel bag, required medicines, … who knows. They should have asked someone else. I’m sure someone would have been ok checking their hand luggage. |

| Meh. Sometimes flight attendants and gate agents go on power trips or want to get their standby buddies on the flight. I would believe the passengers over the people on the plane. |

| No, they didn't get kicked off because of the luggage - apparently cursing at people and being incredibly rude. Flight very delayed- we are still sitting at the gate! |
