Anyone get some modern flatware that has held up? Where did you get it? Thanks! |
I bought some flatware from BBB like 20+ years ago it's totally held up. |
Sherrill Manufacturing in upstate NY is great. Wide range of patterns. Well made - sturdy. Made in USA. They sell via an online web site. I think their factory is the same one which made Oneida flatware before Oneida moved to only selling Chinese imports. |
You realize they are out of business, right? How is this helpful? |
Thanks. Didn't see anything I liked. |
We got ours at Crate & Barrel. |
I love my Yamasaki flatware, it has sadly been discontinued. |
Yamazaki, not sure why it autocorrected so weirdly. |
I just bought a Mikasa set at Costco. |
Just go to a few different home stores at different levels (e.g. Macy's, Crate and Barrel, Home Goods) and look to see if you can find something you like. |
My Oneida is good, idk where it was made. I don’t know why US manufacturing would be superior for this. |
Also Oneida got from Ross or tjmaxx/homegoods |

I had searched for years and ended up with these from Costco- I love them! |
Has anyone found any recently that is NOT oversized? I can’t stand the gigantic forks that almost look like serving forks, and have returned way too many online purchases. |
Bc I don’t want my flatware contaminated with lead or arsenic! I didn’t know about Oneida offshoring. Thx for the info. |
