At what point do teams realize they are just bankrolling in house scrimmages? In most age groups, the teams enrolled are 50%+ Alexandria. How does this make business sense for them as a club

Admittedly I haven't paid attention to older age groups, as DS is a u11. But I thought the tournament looked well attended this year, in particular in that age group.

Tournament aside, have heard from several people that Alexandria Futsal is a complete sh*t show this year. Not sure if someone new took over or what is going on.

Can someone tell Alexandria they have "Disctrict Heights, MD" spelled wrong on their gotsoccer schedule page. Making me crazy.

I have to say, it was a real kick in the balls to see that they have like 15 sites for this event, 14 of which are in Alexandria/NOVA, and all our games in District Heights.

Yes, a minor gripe, but then again, what else is DCUM for?

BE salty, but District heights has 10 fields. Everywhere else has 17.

The MD facility is charging a fee none of the Alexandria sites are. Plus they are providing 2 free tickets to each team most likely those are going to the managers family. ASA supposedly paid for 4 tickets for each ASA kid playing in MD for their family to attend.

This reminds me of when STJ charged a fee to watch the kids play futsal at their facility.

If true, that's so scummy. "Come play in our tournament, but you're going to have to pay more for your team to play so we can subsidize our own team."
