The School Profiles Dashboard will be implemented in three phases:
• Phase 1—Begins Tuesday, December 5, 2023, with 2022–2023 school year data. The 2023–2024 data will be updated in early 2024 upon verification of the MSDE data.
• Phase 2—Scheduled for Spring 2024, will include Safety and Security and Special Education Profiles and selected enhancements requested through the feedback process.
• Phase 3—Scheduled for Fall 2024, will include updates of data for the 2023–2024 Pathway Academic Milestones and additional selected enhancements requested through the feedback process.

Just more spin and smoke and mirrors to cover up what’s really going on in MCPS

So the data dashboards are out. Nice.

The dashboards look great. Unfortunately, some of the data within the dashboards just illuminates the sad state of MCPS.

The real question is, what is Monifa and her team going to do about some of the schools that have really depressing data on SAT/IB test scores above a 3, graduation rate, meeting state standards, etc.?

It's a good thing that they are modernizing the Schools at a Glance information. Having the demographic data available as an Excel file is awesome. I'm glad they are doing this.

Will the data now be updated in real time? Still waiting on 2023 data…

This format actually gives more information, and is easier to access. When you complain and complain and complain about every single thing, it makes people take the REAL concerns less seriously.

+1. Stakeholders especially parent and community organizations spoke about more data transparency, accessibility, and easier use for all. Here they have delivered just that and have provide timeline for upcoming updates. The first page even includes a link for feedback.

Some people will never be happpy

For what it is worth they did a great job building the dashboard. But I don't think that will help my kids get into college

But just think of all the central office employees and consultants they were able to employ.

The dashboards look great, and not everything is about you individually (or me individually).

There’s more varied info, not less. How is that a cover up?

If you prefer less info be available publicly, that’s an issue.
