Yes they do as this happened to us near annapolis when the incapacitated plane flew near dc and they scrambled from a local base. But I haven’t heard of that in close in va. seems would be more construction related like pile driving. |

| If it's on Tuesday mornings around 7 it's probably cannon practice at Arlington national cemetery (I hear it in sw dc sometimes). At other times, it could be a military funeral there. |

Which part isn't safe? Exactly where should they be doing these highly supervised and heavily controlled exercises? I live 30 miles from a major marine base, I can hear when they're doing their ordinance exercises and sometimes feel it - never has it been a concern not to me or to our neighbors. |
