DC criminals stealing your coat at gunpoint

Watch your back , you can't wear nice things in DC.

We need to crack down and get new leadership, maybe send in the Marine and implement martial law to take out all the criminals

These poor Jean Valjeans are just trying to clothe their families.

This is horrifying. They need police on overtime in every corne, or call in the guard. When is the march on the attorney office? We can't arrest our way out of this, need to prosecute and REPEAL Allen's "youth rehab" Act. He should be the one leading that charge, since it's a clear fail.

Marines can not patrol DC streets (illegal) but national guard could. I think random roadblocks would be amazing. Especially near the big corridors, capitol hill, western Ave and other "escape routes" and hotspots

Have pity for them. They need the coats more than you do. These poor people don’t have access to any help.

Until we get more crime by white people, we can’t have any enforcement. Deal with it or start stealing cars.

Exactly, DC is warm during the winter and frosty at best for a few days during winter.

What is the rationale behind a person in their teens and early 20s walking around with thousands of dollars of branded clothing? Especially after at least one university (GWU) told them they were at risk and to stop wearing them. It can’t be status; it’s not their money.
