New flight paths coming to Bethesda?

Anonymous
Does anyone know anything about the new flight paths for airplanes landing at National airport that are coming to Bethesda sometime this summer? I was not able to find anything online. I wrote to our Montgomery County leaders but received no response. I saw a post on social media a few weeks ago but now I cannot find it.

If this is true what options do you propose that won't then affect other neighborhoods/towns if they were to change their flight path?

Bethesda deserves special consideration. They are better than us

I’m pretty sure the OP was just asking for info. No need for nastiness in this season of gratitude.

At this point, they really ought to consider closing National all together.

Your information is correct, OP. There are two MoCo government representatives on the airport community roundtable. They are behind those efforts. Please contact Ken Hartman for more information.

The noise and safety. It's much different than it was 60 or 80 years ago and there are alternatives - no need for it at this point in time.

Safety? What alternatives?

Pfffft! Tell it to every single MOC who wants to get home for “in-district time” on the weekends.

Not happening.

The same group from Montgomery County tried to devastate my neighborhood two years ago. Thankfully, they were stopped in time.

So you're giving me permission to be "nasty" again to OP on Jan 2nd? Got it, I'll try to sit on my fat little fingers for a few more weeks and then revive this truly STUPID thread so I can chime back in with more "nastiness".
