The first two eps are out - it stars Keeley Jones as a Minnesota wife with some surprising survival skills; Jennifer Jason Leigh as her conniving MIL; Dave Foley as the sketchy family lawyer; Jon Hamm as an outlaw sheriff; Steve from Stranger Things as Jon Hamm's son; Winston from New Girl as a cop; Kamala from Never Have I Ever as the cop investigating the thing that happens in the first ep that I don't want to spoil - and a whole bunch more.
First few minutes of the first episode, I was skeptical - esp of the accents - but now two eps in I am hooked. I hate this week by week release schedule - I want to *binge*. |
| I am also frustrated that they only release an episode a week! It is so good so far |
Lol. Juno Temple |
HAHA - omg yes of course, Juno Temple. |
| Joe Keery from Stranger Things is also great in this! |
| I am enjoying it too. |
| I’m enjoying it so far, but Jennifer Jason Leigh is just…not good. She used to be such a great actress, what happened? |

Do I have to watch season 4 before watching this?
I’m only partly through episode 2 but I’m not into it. |
Each season is self-contained. You don't need to watch prior seasons. |
+1 |
| NP. So if we don't have to watch each season, which one do you recommend for a newbie to the series? |
I liked the first two seasons a lot, was kind of meh about season 3, and didn’t bother to watch season 4. I would start with either of the first two seasons - season 1 bears some similarities to the movie, and season 2 is unrelated and set in the 70’s. |
I was thinking it might be a directing issue? I don't know. But yeah, she's a bit stiff and two-dimensional. |
No, she has always been a melodramatic actor, average at best. |
| Wonder how the chemistry is between Hamm and Temple? He was so off w/ Anniston in the Morning Show. Hope they are on fire like he was with everyone on Mad Men! |
