They aren’t the only school doing this! PCR tests are hard to come by except for your scheduled day with a contractor. Schools need more frequent and individual PCR tests. When they can’t get the test or the results in a timely fashion their only option is to get rapid tests kits at the last minute.

I don't believe that schools are having teachers -- DC residents only -- stand in line at libraries to get 4 tests. If tests are that difficult to get, they would make it families' problem.

They’re not getting them for families, for faculty.

So if there's a faculty, they're still planning to teach for now, I guess?

But will they get paid?

The tests were for the kids. They don’t care about the faculty.

Teachers are leaving. A few already have.

There are many things to criticize about whittle, but this idea about tests is made up. Whittle is using the same PCR test vendor as Maret and other privates. They treat the test date as a pop-up site, and the tests are paid for by health insurance, and teachers and parents even can sign up to be tested.

Some left at the end of school year 2021. Have more left since Sept 2021?

Everyone knew it was BS. Yeah they are IB. Never mind they have been sued by everyone. Never mind the school may close in a week or two
They are IB! Wow! Wonderful! Great school!

Some have left in the last two weeks. And the nurse asking the faculty to get Covid tests from library happened in an email so it’s on record as being true. The school wants to stockpile rapid tests for the students and gave out links to the libraries in Dc, MD, and VA, telling staff to go and get as many as possible.

They can only get 2 at a time from DC. Why is a private school stockpiling resources paid for and meant for DC residents? That is basically stealing.

Hard to see how no news isn't bad news when you had to pay for last month's necessities by begging.
