If this was just a medical issue I think Kate would have been savvy enough to understand the power of sharing her medical condition and reminding the world she’s a real person with medical/mental health issues.

Plus it would have been a great way to show your kids the power of being honest

But bigger forces must be at play, and Kate can’t control the narrative like she could if it was strictly a health issue

I think an eating disorder would be the last thing they'd admit to on this list, just above suicide attempt (which I would doubt). It likely was an eating disorder which would have been further complicated by intense stress of being a public figure, parenting 3 kids and marriage to a short tempered grump perfectionist.
This photo thing is nothing compared to the vague "abdominal surgery".

The silliest theory imo is that Rose Hanbury is pregnant. Rose doesn’t strike me as the kind of gal who would have any qualms about abortion. Plus she’s another “commoner” (albeit with distant royal connections) who leveraged herself into a title, so why would she risk that?

I have seen the video from when they went to help at the charity. She is wearing the same boots and jeans. Charlotte has the same boots and blouse on underneath the sweater. That is all that is the same.

Same- I was believing until she just ignored Louis bc he has a completely different sweater on. They’re pretty basic pieces, and the kids probably have separate public/private wardrobes, so a smaller selection of classic pieces to reuse.

All the obviously bad photoshopping is around the clothes - the girl's sleeve and skirt are both poorly misaligned and at Kate's neckline/zipper area, all bad.
My personal first reaction to the pic was "Whaaat? Abdominal surgery and those skinny jeans? No" -- but I didn't just to photoshop theories like others.

For chrissakes she issued a statement that YES she did edit the photo.

DP but I don't think they added a photo in photoshop-- I think the photo was taken the same day as the baby bank event and Charlotte has a cardigan on for the photo but not at the event.

I 100% believe they photoshopped her skirt to make it plaid because until I saw this TikTok I could not figure out why on earth there was so much Photoshop around Charlotte's waist. Seeing the photos from that even make it all make sense-- photoshopping a pattern into a garment in a photo is awkward and can be tricky-- often Photoshop will bleed the pattern into adjacent objects due to shading, and this must be corrected. That would account for all the blurring around Charlotte's waist and why part of her skirt appears to jut out unnaturally at a blocky angle.

This also explains all the weird editing around Catherine's neck-- her sweater was altered to be black instead of cream, and when this awkwardly bled into some of the shadows around her neck and the zipper of her jacket, they attempted to correct it, resulting in blurring and the weirdness with the zipper.

I have no idea WHY they would do any of this, but I now feel extremely confident that this photo was from that day last year and the botched photoshopping was primarily due to altering some of the clothes to conceal this fact.

Yeah, I think suicide, eating disorder and abortion would be the only medical issues that they wouldn't disclose. Though none seem likely here. Eating disorder wouldn't put her out for this long and they would likely give a better announcement. Abortion highly unlikely but that would not cause 3 month absence.

The divorce is more likely, as I think if it had been health related they would disclose. IF she needed rest due to mental issues, they would likely state it. Camilla is taking a R&R week and they said that flat out. They could've done the same for Kate but have not - which leads one to believe that she is not cooperating and has left the marriage.

Even if you accept that this statement was from Catherine directly, and that it's true, it doesn't explain why she'd Photoshop this specific photo to make it look like she and her kids were wearing different clothes. Just... why? The phot was not altered to make her look better or conceal signs of illness. It was altered to make it look like they were wearing different clothes, presumably so that people wouldn't realize it was from 2023. The statement "from Catherine" in no way explains that weirdness.
