| I think they knew people were sympathetic toward Alec, and overplayed their hand for more PR. |
It wasn’t the pics but her comment that they tried to give the kids a normal holiday or something to that effect. I mean, that’s over the top. Are we supposed to feel sorry for her kids who have both parents? |
No the pics were too much too. Just lie low for awhile it’s not that hard. |
Here’s an example of one of the very rare cases in which an employer was found criminally liable for a safety violation in the workplace: https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdwv/pr/blankenship-sentenced-year-federal-prison It’s not going to happen here but there is some chance that an ondividual will be criminally charged if they can identify who put a live round in a prop gun. |
I agree about the flipping out lawyer, especially since there were other dangerous situations on the set. |
|
Here it is. “Rust” prop person shot herself in foot on the set due to a live round being in the gun.

Hilaria seems only too eager to insert herself into this mess. Free publicity plus she can paint herself as this loving mama bear/wife. What they need to do is stay behind closed doors for a good long while. And the sharing pictures of Halloween costumes - on the same day as Halnya's funeral??!? SUCH poor taste. |
+1 He needs to just shut up. The paps wouldn't be able to hound them if they'd just stay at home for awhile. I think they both crave the attention. |
Exactly. Six kids enjoying Halloween and BOTH of their parents, while Halyna's husband buries his wife and tries to comfort his son. And there's Hilaria, in her sexy spider dress, showing off those toned arms... the whole thing is so incredibly tone deaf. Amazed at the sycophants commenting such nice things on her IG. Barf. |
I wonder too. It was clear in that impromptu "press conference" on the road that Alec was sick to death of her speaking for him, interrupting, and being a total attention hog. I wonder just how long they're going to last. I also wonder how on earth Alec didn't realize long ago how incredibly shallow and narcissistic she is. Maybe he is too... |
+1 They could have had a fun Halloween at home, and just done some little games in the house. The kids are little - they wouldn't have cared. I find all of this just so unbelievable. Who would be so clueless and callous? |

The AD that handed Alec the gun is now speaking publicly. I find it interesting that he told police (as did other witnesses) that he never said "Cold gun" when he handed it to Alec.
I've also been a little bothered by the fact that the AD talks about how he should have checked better. But Alec never said he should have checked. He just retweeted articles slamming the AD. The AD has remorse and wishes he did things differently. Alec doesn't say anything about having remorse that he didn't check. And by most accounts, actors are typically shown the inside of the chamber, so it would be reasonable to expect he might have asked, or regretted not asking. I was involved in a situation where someone was seriously hurt at work. In my case, I predicted it, stated my prediction clearly up the management chain and to all involved, and tried to get them to change their minds about doing it. Even with all that, I still have regrets about how I could have been more persuasive in my approach to get people not to do what ultimately left someone brain dead. I think about everything like, what did I do in the preceeding year that made me less credible when I was trying to get them to reconsider this doomed event? I think most people, when faced with this kind of thing, tend to he self critical rather than point fingers. It is very strange to me that Alec has not said a single thing about his own role in this tragedy. |
It doesn't sound like your situation at work was similar, where someone else's mistake led to you injuring or killing another person. That's what happened to AB. He may feel guilt and regret. He likely feels anger. What he has expressed is sorrow, which is always a permissible emotion. |
| The Baldwins are creepy scumbags, the world would be much better off if they moved to a remote area of the planet and were never seen or heard from again. |

Once again, Maureen Callahan of NY Post delivers --
https://nypost.com/2021/11/01/alec-and-hilaria-baldwins-sickening-act-for-sympathy/ "But no, the Rachel Dolezal of the Hamptons is back at it, asking for public sympathy with a soupçon of envy: Her husband may have accidentally killed a young wife and mother, but hey, covet their cozy autumnal New England lifestyle, won’t you? Hutchins was buried on Friday. Her son, Andros, is only 9 years old. The UK Sun reported that the child was unable to speak for two days after his mother’s death. “Andros was incredibly close to his mother,” Halyna’s father told the Sun. “This tragedy has wrecked a beautiful, perfect family. Everyone who knows them is destroyed by sorrow.” Can you imagine what kind of Halloween this little boy had? What agony the coming holidays will be for him and his father? Yet the Baldwins, in all their malignant narcissism, would have us keep our eyes on their particular freak show, one rife with bad acting, ill-advised activity and Alec’s strange aura of imperviousness. You get the sense that Baldwin’s pretty sure he won’t be criminally charged and that all this overacting — how many photos were taken of Alec this weekend with his head in his hands after he was caught shopping at Ralph Lauren, or going on a coffee run, or sitting at a bar in Vermont, in a restaurant he and Hilaria bought out, right in front of a large window so the paparazzi could get their unobstructed shots? — is just to stave off a civil lawsuit." BINGO |
