| I’m talking less than 5 employees. You’re a small business owner but lmfao, you’re not a CEO and you don’t even know what that means???? |
|
Because people have ego problems. A CEO isn’t just a title.
Investopedia also highlights one of the “main responsibilities” as “acting as the main point of communication between the Board of Directors“ |
Why does it irk you so |
I love the DCUM projection in every thread. OP never said they were irked. They pointed out a legitimate wrong. I don’t do business with people who don’t know business. |
| I’m a stay at home parent, but I call myself “the management” 🤷♂️ |
OP was moved to start a thread. OP is clearly irked. |
There’s tens of thousands of reasons to ask for an understanding. are you not very smart? Maybe learn emotions are a spectrum, sweetheart. |
This. It boils down to ego. Plenty of small business owners don’t call themselves CEOs, but the ones who do are usually MLM or something. Makes sad humans try to make themselves eeem more important |
|
They are just being tongue-in-cheek.
The better question is why on earth it bothers you so much that you would post this. |
Hahaha Gottem! Love when people get called out on here |
| All businesses start small and when you register your business you are required to give yourself a title. CEO's typically run large organizations but they do not own the business. However, any business owner can call themselves a CEO. Founder would probably be a better title. |
| I would use the CEO title if I had plans to expand into a larger business. |
|
I'm the CEO of my home
-stay at home mother |
Maam, calling people tards is both trashy and ableist. Be better. |
| I would call myself founder if I was starting a business. Then president as it grows. Unless it gets around $10 million or higher in revenue, CEO sounds pretentious. |
