| Ideally something driveable with a pool; we'd be up for anything. Elementary aged kids. |
|
Driveable with an outdoor pool? That’s probably impossible unless you want to drive really far.
For indoors, would water parks work? Or just an indoor hotel pool? |
| Williamsburg/Busch Gardens. Driveable, and they have special winter break deals on their site with admission to both. |
|
What is your budget?
Try Camelback Resort in PA |
| Just any indoor pool will do! Budget could be $4K for 5 days or so. |
|
I’d do Pittsburgh and pick a hotel with a pool. There should be plenty to do with museums and stuff plus nice restaurants. Same thought with Philly. Charlotte would work too.
|
| Great Wolf Lodge |
| 4K is plenty for five days. I haven’t been, but maybe Massanutten? I think they have a water park and there are snow activities too. If snow isn’t your thing, Williamsburg would be fun. |
| Omni Homestead. My kids loved the outdoor pools (heated by hot springs!) in the winter. Indoor pool too! |
|
what are your dates? You could fly to san juan, pr, over xmas for about 250/each on frontier, direct from bwi (dec 19 or 20-25). . Could probably find a hotel or air bnb on your budget.
here's one option https://www.google.com/travel/flights/s/4Bo6HMG983XKLG2P6 |
| Massanutten |
| I wouldn't recommend Massanutten. It's great in the summer months when the outdoor area is open, but without that - it is a tiny indoor area. They do have an arcade though. |

4K for five days for 5 people?
Whoa. I am so poor. That’s a reaaallly nice vacation you’re throwing together! Good on you. |
| NYC. You can tailor your budget accordingly - it can be done for pretty reasonable price if you don't stay in Manhattan proper. |
I was assuming they wanted to ski and board and do winter stuff |
