Why majority if humans still consume such stuff when science has proven why we shouldn't?

Because they're delicious.

DP - Maybe not pork, but processed meats like ham, bacon, and sausage — many of which are made from pork.

this is such a dumb post. we are all dumber for having stopped to even consider the answer to this.

Because they taste good, because some processed foods are deliberately engineered to have addicting qualities, and because most humans don’t have access to affordable options. I would happily live on a diet of fresh peaches and other fresh fruit, fresh veggies — especially lettuce, and fresh seafood. I can’t afford it. And truly fresh seafood — as opposed to frozen — is almost impossible to find.

I’ll add, too, that “science” changes over time and we do a horrible job of communicating “science” as it changes to most people in useful ways. I actually had a decent, sustainable diet in my mid twenties, but I gained a few pounds. I saved up enough money to pay for one (and only one) visit to a nutritionist— who told me that I needed to force myself to both eat breakfast every day and to add more carbs “like bagels” to my daily diet. I, indeed, forced myself to comply with these directives— with predictable results by today’s fairly well-known standards.

Because we all have to die of something OP.

I have not seen anything saying all pork is bad. P

I have seen the studies that show beef is carcinogenic.

Eggs are bad
Margarine should be consumed over butter
Fat is our enemy, here are some Snackwells
Eat 10-14 servings for processed grains a day, like bread

Science evolves. Eat whatever you want in moderation.

Science has proven we shouldn’t use social media and DCUM yet here you are.

Do you drive? Or travel near cars? Also dangerous, probably shouldn’t do it.

Do you use any kind of plastic? Zip lock bags or food storage? Also toxic per science.

Ever see the labels on things with cancer causing components? Shouldn’t use those either.

Or all the vegetables with heavy metals.

Heck in a lot of places even the water is toxic.

Because life needs to be WORTH LIVING, not just as long as humanly possible.

Don't fret. You're safe. It's only in the poor people food they poison.

Look, Pork, Sugar, Alcohol is not going to kill you unless they figure a way to craft into a bullet and shoot it out of a gun (well maybe a hostile bologna can)

Don't forget sitting. Sitting at our desks is shortening our lives. So, unless you currently are at a standing desk, science has proven that you are harming yourself.
