It just went on yesterday because the outside temp was freezing where I am. I could have waited longer but the dogs were really cold.

No way son

We waited until last night and found an issue today. I'd suggest checking yours (by turning on) prior to holiday next week.

57? wtf? what are you trying to prove?
Anonymous
Hell no. I’m tempted to turn in the pellet stove.

These “holding out” bravado threads every year are hysterical.

Do you want a cookie?

No.
I want to feel comfortable in my own house and not chronically cold or over bulky trying to double up sweatshirts.

You don't need to go to the other extreme of blasting the heat to 75+ degrees, but 68/69/70 is usually the moderate choice for most.

Oh yes we 🙏

When the temp is below freezing at night only a fool doesn't turn on heat.

Hasn't kicked in yet this season. Heat is set to 63. House is currently 66.

We haven’t turned ours on yet either and our kids are 7 and 9. We have heated blankets and the kids wear sweatshirts. They think it’s fun!
