| She is awful but so is the grievance-culture cannon of schools around here. I am seriously tired of “DEI” standing in for rigorous instruction. Please, teach my kid about Trail of Tears. Have him research it and write a paper. But enough with the buzz-words and political ideology. My 11 year already frankly told me that he only says what he thinks they want him to say in social studies. The assignments are all about “tell me why this is unjust” instead of teaching kids content & analysis. |

Things that are ok: criticizing Israel's treatment of Palestinians, especially over the recent several years. Also ok to criticize Israel for the outsized civilian casualties and attacks on freaking hospitals.
Not ok: bats*** conspiracy theories denying the Hamas attack and alleging...organ trafficking? |
