I swear the left has just made up who John McCain really was. He was not a liberal. The only reason the left started liking him was that he trash talked Trump. I think it’s because he stood up to the crazies who claimed Obama was not US born. I’m from AZ, he definitely was very conservative but at least he stood up for truth. Despite what many conservatives say, many liberals have respect for conservatives even if they hold different views.

I believe this. and I don't have to agree with you politically, to respect your opinion. I disagree with MANY of the conservative republican policies, but someone like McCain or Romney, they stood where they stood.

Now a days the republican's have opinions that are made up just to make the most $$ off our citizens.

back in the day when Biden was a senator, they could disagree on policy but be personal friends. that would never happen now.
