I think it’s because he stood up to the crazies who claimed Obama was not US born. I’m from AZ, he definitely was very conservative but at least he stood up for truth. I believe this. and I don't have to agree with you politically, to respect your opinion.  I disagree with MANY of the conservative republican policies, but someone like McCain or Romney, they stood where they stood.

Now a days the republican's have opinions that are made up just to make the most $$ off our citizens.
