Weight watchers, need new ideas

I have had a good 2 months of WW and have lost almost 10lbs. I'm at a plateau both physically and mentally. I eat the same things to reduce my stress of measuring and counting, which means I'm getting bored and discouraged. I'm a volume eater, can't eat like a bird or I'll give up. IF is impossible for me.

Can you please suggest your favorite meals and snacks that you enjoy within your daily points.

Thank you!!

Cabbage! I like to volume eat. One of my favorite dinners is a whole onion, half of a cabbage, rough chopped and roasted. You can roast on parchment paper if you want to keep the olive oil minimal. Shred some parm over it when coming out of the oven

Dip made from plain NF yogurt and salsa/ veg soup mix/ everything but the bagel seasoning...use veggies to dip. Zero to 1 point,

FF Cottage cheese and fruit

Mini triscuits and a sliced cheese-stick a portion controlled hordeurve.

Thank you! I love the dip idea. And I forgot about roasting cabbage! I love roasted cauliflower.

Just did a quick trip the store and got yogurt, cottage cheese and cabbage. I also picked up some chick peas to roast and some deli Turkey to wrap around pickles.

I am also a volume eater and love soups. I have made a bunch of variations on black beans and chicken. One with sweet potatoes, one with a little bacon, some with tomato base.

I also made a low point carrot apple soup with ginger and it was amazing. Will make butternut squash version too.

I also like smoothies with frozen fruit and nonfat Greek yogurt. Very low points

This Mushroom Soup looked good to me although I haven’t tried it yet.

I also have made roasted chick peas. Lots of recipes online.

Op here--I have thought about it, and I would probably have used it if I were at a higher weight. I am 5'5 and started at 175, now at 165. My goal is 150 and I think I can do it with WW. I don't look bad at 160, my weight is distributed nicely and I have muscle. I've never been and never will be super skinny and Im ok with that. I have nothing against the meds, just seeing if I can do without. Glad it works for you!!

I’m the soup PP and I started WW around the same time as you and my stats are really similar but 5 lbs heavier at every point. I feel the same way about my motivation starting to fade but I really really want to lose another 10lbs at least. If you have some other good ideas please share! I don’t do a big meal prep but I do like to have a big pot of something to eat a few lunches - when I’m rushing to eat quickly I struggle to make good choices. Traveling for work right now and it’s REALLY hard.

I make a huge pot of cauliflower fried rice or lentil stew on the weekends to bring for lunch, and eat for lunch all week long

This is op, traveling must be really hard! If it were me I would stick to protein and vegetables as much as I could for each meal and try to calculate them best I could. Also just drink a lot of water and if you have work events; club soda with lime. Do you like oatmeal? You could pre-measure some oats in ziplock bags and pre measure sweetener and some slivered almonds, PB2, protein powder, whatever you want. Then when you are at your hotel room you just dump it into a cup and add hot water.

For a low point travel snack, try the chomps brand meat stick--the turkey is only 2 points. You can get it online, but I've found its cheapest at Trader Joe's.

At home one of my favorite meals is "egg roll in a bowl". It's easy to make and can be zero to low points. If you air fry egg roll wrappers it can be a tasty low-point crunch to add (1 egg roll wrapper is only one point, I cut them into 4 squares for "chips"
To scoop up the meat/cabbage)

NP, I'm on it but you still need to eat healthy, sensible meals. It does make it easier for me to do so, however, since it quiets the 'food noise' so I'm not scarfing down a double cheeseburger instead of a reasonable meal.
