| there’s zero chance of DS’s essays being flagged for AI or any outside help. So, there’s that. |

Low bar.
Plus zero chance???? Nothing in life is zero chance. |

Congratulations ! That is a big task to have behind you.
Take your son out to celebrate. The part of the process that us in his control is done now. |
What does this even mean? You are saying your kid didn't use AI at all, or that they were smart enough to run it through the detectors several times to ensure it would not be flagged for AI? Plenty of essays completely written by humans get flagged for AI because the detectors suck. FYI, schools are dropping the detectors as fast as they started using them because of the false positives. |
| Guys, I think she’s saying the essays aren’t great, so no one will think he had help. It was a self-deprecating comment. |
That's how I took it, too! My kid didn't even let us look at his essay or supplemental responses, so I sure do hope they're OK... (My older child let us read hers and even suggest copy edits.) |
Yep, this.

Exactly…. My husbands edits to my sons essays were so bad and my son said they were robotic. So did the AI detector. |
Haha |
Sadly, I think most 40 and 50 year old people that have corporate jobs write like robots. I sure do. |

Ha! My son submitted 2 EA 11/1 and one RD.
My husband suggested getting a formal review of common app essay before next batch. I did get a copy to see after. It’s actually pretty good. He did run grammar check - |

I saw the personal statement after it had already been submitted to six early action scores…
Found a typo!! |
It will look authentic now! |
| I'm hoping the college app reader is happy to come across a 17 yr old boy's essay sounding like a 17 year old boy (in good ways). |
