The differences between the council members with stark. Hats off to Council Natali Fani-Gonzales who said she was not there to romanticize solutions. She does not live in a La La Land and wants data. she told them that they were welcome to come on a ride along with her so they could see the crime firsthand.

Protecting children must be the main priority here, and all children are innocent by definition.

Why punish them just because they commit so-called “crimes?”

I’m the OP and rolled my eyes during her turn to speak. She’s a complete joke, especially compared to Dawn Leudke and Natali Family-Gonzales. I can’t be sure, but I think the romanticize line was specifically for Mink who seems to want non-solutions. Just wait until her kids are old enough to actually be impacted by soft on crime policies. Either that or she’ll also stick her kids into private school. I hope it never comes to that and that she’s voted out this next election.
