| People on College Confidential have reported hearing yesterday/today. But just a few. My kid was accepted in early September, and we haven’t heard anything yet. |

| FWIW, DS was accepted last year as a CS major. After scouring and participating in multiple message boards, I don’t recall a single post in which a CS major received merit. Good luck! |

| DC was accepted to Pitt last year and the feedback was that Pitt (and Penn State) offer very little in merit aid |

No, that is not it. Over the last few years, they’ve shifted their focus from merit aid to out of state to FA to instate. |
