Who wants a "howdy" shirt, though? Like...I get it's Texas and all, but...nah. |
| Just curious: has anyone alluded to Jane Capstitcher on the Jen Hatmaker main feed? I’m sure you’d be immediately cancelled but just curious |
^This seems like Jen posted this in hopes that she could fish some people out who are on here. Don't take the bait. |
| I got blocked from her accounts for just calling out some of her shilling.... I imagine Jane would get blocked from everything immediately! |
| If I had some stranger out there in social media as pin point savage in their criticism and mockery of me as whoever is writing “Jane Capsticher” I would be simultaneously terrified and impressed. Terrified cause they are so brilliant in their satire and impressed cause the writing and bite is so elegant and knowing. |
I just saw a hilarious comment on her FB post about the purse and sweatshirt. Someone posted "Yay! Materialism!" wonder if the comment will stay there...

I could not be less interested in bags from Able. They look like whatever you get on the shelf at Walmart - not knocking a good Walmart purse but you know.
Also she is looking mighty tiny these days |
do we REALLY think Jane...er...Jen...is on here looking? |
Plot twist! “Jane Capsticher” is really Jen Hatmaker going undercover pilot testing a new writing project: Humor fiction. |
I would, but I'm a Texas Aggie, and that's our thing. Goes to show you she's just a tshirt Longhorn fan. A real Longhorn wouldn't be caught dead in a shirt that says Howdy. Brandon's wife would LOVE it, though.

“My mother …. birthed into this world a wordsmith. With a scalpel in hand, I use this language with the precision of a heart surgeon….“ -Tyler Merritt “Jen is dope.” - Tyler Merritt |
| Jen celebrates cleaning out Remy’s room and turning it into a guest room - an 18 year old who is clearly not fully launched or ready to be an adult because Jen has not done the work to get Remy on solid footing. She’s basically chasing her out the door and doing so waaay before she required that of her other kids. And this is a child that Jen went to another continent to get and bring here! And yet she will not take responsibility for completing the job. |
That comment is gone today... truth hurts!
|
Yeah Jen for over a decade has pushed the narrative of Remy being on the spectrum. Maybe she is. Maybe she is (also) traumatized living in such a disorienting family. Remember when Jen posted about being shocked she saw a Black man in first class and had to retract it almost immediately? Notice how any Black acquaintances of hers, remain forever an acquaintance. I’m sure her poor daughter has been exposed to relentless casual racism in that friend and family group while being told that they are the most important and significant all knowing people in her life. |

Don’t even get me started on the Tyler nonsense. He is Black but he is just a further reflection of being Black for a White audience.
*Perform for my people you tall, sickly dreadlocked BLACK man, PERFORM* |
