No Netanyahu is a moderate and most of the country is to the right of him.

If you are correct, there is no hope for Israel.

Interesting news from the UK this weekend. An MP is claiming that the UK government has received legal advice from their lawyers that Israel is violating international law in the war in Gaza and therefore must cease all arms sales to Israel.

The MP asked David Cameron directly in a committee whether “you have never had a piece of paper put in front of you by a Foreign Office lawyer that says that Israel is in breach of its international humanitarian commitments under international humanitarian law”.

Cameron stated that “I cannot recall every single bit of paper that has been put in front of me … I don’t want to answer that question.”

Not true. The settlers are to the right and there’s a reason Netanyahu had to pander to them.

Regular Israelis don’t like him or care for him.

I don’t think many Israelis or Palestinians would cry over Netanyahu and Abbas and Hamas disappearing tomorrow from politics

Abbas seems like the only somewhat normal one of that bunch. Not very strong - but also not crazy and self-destructive, or other-destructive.

Hamas is in Manhattan? Looks like the IDF will have to redirect

Haha. Yes, this was not "Hamas" but 3 serial protesters who held up a Free Palestine flag. Since we are on this topic, in fact Pope Francis calls for Gaza ceasefire as he leads Easter Mass.

They have no right to interrupt a religious service. Three men were arrested. Good. Let's see if they are actually prosecuted.
And, at this point, they are no different than Hamas.

I doubt they’ll be prosecuted. There are left wing groups who post bail for the protestors. Unless they’re given 1/6 time, these things will keep happening and probably Joe Biden will be heckled again during the DNC. Left wing groups are really odd. I don’t see them do anything at MAGA rallies

They had better be prosecuted. We have people who have done nothing more than pray outside of abortions clinics who are being prosecuted under the FACE act. This same law also states that the following is unlawful:

2) the use of physical force, threat of physical force, or physical obstruction to intentionally injure, intimidate, interfere with or attempt to injure, intimidate or interfere with any person who is exercising or trying to exercise their First Amendment right of religious freedom at a place of religious worship.

If their actions are not prosecuted, it would be hypocritical, at the minimum.

This is not Israel. People are allowed to protest against the ongoing Israel holocaust. I guess in your world the Pope should be arrested because he called for a ceasefire? Guess the Pope is Hamas?

I can tell you are desperate to hide Israel’s crimes against humanity.

I’m starting to think that with the incredible targeted killing of senior officials that Israel is conducting (see Damascus) that we might start to be grateful that they are taking out some of these extremists! It’s kind of impressive really.

Netanyahu and Likud are not at all moderate, they are and have always been right wing, sprang up as opposition to the Labor party. It should also be noted that for most of Israel's prior history after 1947 they were left wing with many socialist policies. And of course the whole idea of a Kibbutz is communist (literal commune).

Meanwhile there are now mass protests in Israel in opposition to Netanyahu and his policies vs. Palestine, and those protests are growing. To suggest the whole country is a bunch of far right wing genocidal Palestinian haters is just plain wrong.

I think that's right. We'll hate how we got here, but be glad these evil terrorists are dead.

Well apparently now Trump is anti-Israel

I guess this means a bunch of young leftists are going to vote for Trump, or get more excited about him possibly winning gd help us, but I wonder what it does to the Republican Jews who insist that they vote T because of his support for Israel.

They'll probably ignore, I guess.

These are excerpts from Trump’s interview:

I wanted to call [Israel] and say don't do it. These photos and shots. I mean, moving shots of bombs being dropped into buildings in Gaza," Trump reportedly continued. "And I said, Oh, that's a terrible portrait. It's a very bad picture for the world. The world is seeing this ... every night, I would watch buildings pour down on people. It would say it was given by the Defense Ministry, and said whoever's providing that, that's a bad image."

When Israel Hayom followed up, claiming terrorists are hiding in buildings, Trump reportedly responded: "Go and do what you have to do. But you don't do that."

"And I think that's one of the reasons that there has been a lot of kickback. If people didn't see that, every single night I've watched every single one of those. And I think Israel wanted to show that it's tough, but sometimes you shouldn't be doing that," the former president continued.

For the first time in my life, I respect what Trump said.

This will win him some votes in Michigan.

Nah… rest of his supporters are a lock, he is trying to swat Michigan and progressives, it might just work. Also, it’s a moment of reckoning for Zionists who think they can divide and rule American politics.

Where? Which state?

I know a lot of Muslims who were not planning for voting either Biden or Trump. The message out there is that Trump would be worse for Palestinians. But you know what, I'm not sure of that anymore.
