Would love to chat with others interested in vegan cooking!
Our family is transitioning to veganism (several of us have been vegan in the past but have primarily been vegetarian for the past few decades) I am playing around with some new recipes. I had some kala namak in the pantry I had never used and finally got around to using it. I really love this recipe and foresee making a lot more in the future! https://vegnews.com/vegan-recipes/easy-vegan-tofu-egg-salad Share with me any vegan recipes you love (please!) |
| Vegan Richa has some great recipes. |

Welcome to the club! I would say get familiar with adapting recipes until you’re comfortable making a vegan version of almost anything. I particularly like Isa Chandra Moscowitz, author of the veganomicon among other cookbooks. She’s very casual in tone, but all of her recipes are delicious.
Seconding Vegan Richa as well. A large amount of Minimalist Baker is also vegan. Love making soba dishes with cashews and veggies and sesame. We make a lemon tahini dill soup that is very adaptable. Experiment! Enjoy! |
| I'm not vegan but I eat mostly plant based with a bit of egg and dairy here and there. Wanted to add my recommendations for Woon Heng (though I haven't seen much new content from her lately) and The Korean Vegan. |
Wise decision. I can write a book on how plant-based diet changed my life! Agree with others. Vegan Richa blog is great. I like Minimalist Baker but she uses way too many ingredients. Holy Cow is another blog and especially good for baked items. |
