Ridgeview MS- principal?

Does anyone know why Principal Garcia is no longer showing up as the principal at Ridgeview? He’s also not listed on the MCPS staff directory.

This is a good indicator that the principal has been removed for misconduct. The Principal likely had some due process time to respond to a complaint. If the complaint is valid it would be reasonable for MCPS to silently remove the principal.

It’s a good time for people to share any suspicious interactions with this principal. That can help identify patterns during additional investigation.

He’s mentioned elsewhere on the school website but his name is not on the staff directory. The APs are the first listed in the staff directory, but the principal’s name, which is usually the first listed, is not there.

How do you folks know where to look for these things? Are you just frequently looking at the schools/MCPS websites looking for discrepancies?

a tech savvy person could probably create a program to check for missing principals everyday.

The fact that there's an end date to his leave suggests that it's not for mistreating someone. When someone is being investigated, they're put on leave with no end date. Maybe he has a health or family issue.

And I agree that the principals are not doing ok. Half of them look like walking death. It ages them by like 15 years.
