Yes, I know it’s $$$$, but I need something for a very special person. Is it still cool for the young-twenties crowd? If not, what is the new thing?
Thanks. |
| So over done.... |

Now you can get fakes of all the most recognizable pieces so easily, it's really not worth your money to get a real one. Just like the Alhambra collection from Van Cleef & Arpels. There is no new thing everyone flocks to now, because everyone is being fed different stuff on their social media feed. Maybe ask the special person what they're into, jewelry-wise? |
| I hate to say it, but she’s a sheep. She will just want whatever the other cool girls at her Ivy have. (I am old and out of the loop though, so I don’t know what to do.) |
| Where are people buying these dupe fakes? Department stores? Amazon? |
Gf? |

Yes, they’re still in. You’ll get people who never liked them chiming in, or people who dislike the kind of woman that would wear such a bracelet chiming in, but yes, they’re still in.
Fun Fact: there are purseforum posts from 2012 saying Love bracelets are over. Yet, here we are. |
| If you’re looking for something unbranded my uncle who owns a jewelry store said eternity bands made out of sapphires or rubies are in. |

Make a large donation to a charity that is dear to her heart. |

Why pay for a semester of college when you can wear it on your arm instead?
Better hope the muggers don't notice it; it's worth breaking a wrist to take. |
| IMHO all the "signature" trendy pieces from these brands strivers love are never "in", they are generally ugly and always completely ridiculous. |
| Why not get something classic and unbranded, then you won't have to worry about whether it is in or out. |
It’s for a mistress. |
