JD or MFA?

If you could go back in time, would you rather have gone to law school or gotten an MFA?

MBA

Neither, just worked (I got a JD and now have a job where an MFA would be useful but not required).

I got both and use both every day at my job

Leaning towards MFA or neither.

Isn't MFA a master's in fine arts? I don't have the skills necessary for a MFA and it leads to totally different jobs.

Do you write true crime novels or something? Curious what kind of job would be useful for a JD/MFA

OP: Do you mean Juris Doctorate vs. Master of Fine Arts ????

I think OP meant MBA. Cannot imagine who is responding regarding an MFA unless they think that it is a masters of financial analysis/analytics or something similar. MFA makes no sense.

This thread should be closed as it is obviously mistitled.

OP here.

No, not a typo--the options are a Masters of Fine Art (MFA) or a Juris Doctrate (law degree).

So the question is, knowing what you know now about yourself & your work life, would you pick law school or graduate art school in a field of your choosing (photo, painting, dance, acting, direting, etc).

I have an MFA and would never have even considered a JD.

Still does not make sense.

OP: You should have listened to and followed First Lady Nancy Reagan's advice and "just say no".
