Help me choose between 3 jobs?

Job 1 (current) - $225 base plus $50-$100 bonus. Hybrid but flex which days and for how long. Not great culture but lots of freedom.

Job 2- $175 base plus $50-$200k bonus (based on biz won). Hybrid but set days in office. Not sure of culture but interesting work.

Job 3 - $200 base but super fun work and great culture. Might be insane workload. Hybrid/ flex.

All have offices close tho job 2 is the farthest (prob 20 mins commute where others are 10)

*correction - job 2 has $50-$250k bonus

Just looking at the pay, I say stick with your current job. Best overall pay package.

How much do you care about enjoying your work and how long is left in your career? They all pay plenty and seem close enough to home.

I would hate to have to bring in biz to get paid so 2 out for me but maybe that's your jam.

OP, there are a few relevant tidbits omitted. Does J3 have no bonus? Are you senior/old enough that potential for advancement isn’t an issue? How important is flexibility/work-life balance to you?

I’m old enough and senior enough that I don’t have kids at home and flexibility isn’t super important, but work culture and compensation are. (I make less than your J3 and have no bonus). So I’d pick J2.

Am 40s and have elementary aged kids so flex is important. J3 may have bonus but very discretionary. Potential for advancement is an issue but I think they all have that.

Based on your job offers, why were you even looking for a new job ?

J1 is not a great culture fit. Have not been happy at all at j1. I will say I am finally learning how to navigate the internal politics. But the culture is an issue.

The potential up side for j2 is limitless ($250 is me being conservative and realistic) so there’s that. But it is less flex and base lower

Job 3 sounds like a startup horror show. Proceed with caution. “Super fun” culture and insane workload often means cult mentality

Go for more $ or freedom! #1

PP. Since you’re younger and value flex, I’d pick J3 in your shoes. More rewarding long term, more flexible now. You sacrifice money for quality of life.

Oh interesting! I was sort of assuming I should not take that one bc the tc is about 50% of the potential tc of #2
