Stamps in passport

How many stamps do you have and how old is your passport?

8 stamps, 6 years old. Just counted today when we returned from Mexico.

Got in 2019.

Two stamps from Portugal.

One from Ireland.

Nearly filled the one I had in my 20s.

With all the electronic processing, different immigration agents don't seem to stamp mine much anymore.

I can't even remember the last time my passport actually got stamped. It seems like it doesn't happen anymore.

Oh this is sad. I love stamps and visas.

Yes, I do too. It’s getting so much rarer to get stamps these days.

The only time I don't get stamped is going to Canada. I've been there 5 times since using my current passport (2019) and they never stamp it - this is for air travel and land crossings.

Otherwise, it's stamped.
India
Portugal
Thailand
Sri Lanka
Kenya
Uganda
Tanzania

We've been to several countries in the past 5 years, but no stamps...

France
Great Britain
Portugal
Bahamas
Costa Rica
Germany
Canada

I didn't think they stamped anymore. Just a look and go.

Both France and UK have stamped mine. Bahamas has stamped my husband’s. Countries still stamp.

This is us too. Just went to Dominican Republic and got one!

Do people really still keep track of passport stamps? That feels like a throwback to the 1980s when few people traveled.

I filled my last passport and had to get a new one. When I renewed I got the fat passport (which I don’t think they issue anymore?) and I have 8 sides left before I fill this next one up. Do I win?

Same here. I get the fat version on renewal. Currrently 23 pages filled out of 44, so easily over 100 stamps and a couple of visas too including Russia and China.

Last passport (also fat one), I had to ask them to stamp on pages that already had stamps to keep enough full unused pages for visas. They rquire 2 full blank pages to get a visa even though visas are only one page.

Had to get an exception one year when it was a US gov't shutdown so I couldn't get State to add in more pages. I had one full page and a bunch of half-pages left.
