It’s like nails on a chalkboard |
no, I like it |
+100 |
Why? It makes both you and your kid sound like babies |
I hate it and yet sometimes find myself using it in specific situations where others use it and I know it will make them like me more. And I think I hate that I do that even more than the word itself.
Help. |
donesies, but then we get to have littles back |
It's not as bad as "little" |
You do not get to control how other people speak. KIDDO KIDDO KIDDO |
I didn't know it was possible to dislike an anonymous stranger so much. |
+1. But I am happy to ban both. |
Maybe I'm overreaching, but what if we could get rid of kiddo, little, and LO, which somehow irritates me even more that little because the tweeness of referring to your child as "little one" in casual conversation is too much. |
I would be on board with this, but I am not sure hubby would be. Soz. |
Yes! Please! Our folksy superintendent uses that word all the time and I hate it. |
Yea, I’ll give you that. |
So agree with you OP. I especially hate it when teachers or school administrators say it. Can we communicate like adults please? |
