I’m rewatching Sex and the City and I have a new perspective. I no longer think Big was a bad guy. He was clear from the beginning that he is a little gun shy having been married and divorced before. He is, however, interested in Carrie, but wants to take it slow and ease into it. I’m watching the episode where Carrie sees Big and his mother at the church and immediately insists on meeting her. Big says he isn’t ready for that yet and suggests going away on vacation today to reassure her of his feelings. She throws a fit! And goes to spy on his mom!

She is so psycho! No wonder he was hot and cold with her!
