I was wondering how a co-worker got a job with our agency because he has created a number of fire drills, is not very good in his role, and in general is a distraction to the team.
I did some research and found out his experience does not match his LinkedIn page (and most likely does not match the resume he submitted to the agency). How do I report this? |
| Submit a form to the None Of Your Business Coordinator |
| Just MYOB. |
| I work with him so unfortunately it is my business. |
| LinkedIn is what you want it to be. It is not a resume. |
| Can you be more specific about what he is he lying about? |
| What are you reporting? Linked in is social media. You have no right to know what resume he submitted. Start documenting his issues with his manager if you really feel strongly. |
| Submit it to the IG. |
| Print it out and post it in common areas? |
This. LinkedIn doesn't matter. However, submitting false info to an agency on a resume or application will get you fired very quickly. Similar to time card fraud, it's actually one of things that can lead to a very fast termination of employment. Next steps: you'd talk to your boss about it. You'd bring your evidence. |
Good call. Thanks. |
This. Alternatively, OP could hand deliver copies of it to everyone in the office if they are concerned the relevant employee might get to it and take it down before everyone sees it. |
Lol! This! |
| I would anonymously submit a tip to HR. Don’t expect anything to come of it, though. |
| I like how you reframed nosiness into "research." |
