Another ICE Shooting in Minnesota

I live in a very blue area (all Democratic gov, US Senators, Mayor, local government etc) that is majority brown, 30min from the Mexican border, see border patrol and/or ICE in town daily and we have absolutely NONE of these issues. No protestors (beyond a few people quietly holding signs), no major news stories, no dramas, property damage, people interfering or getting hurt.

What is the deal with Minnesota????

Minneapolis had three times its own police force flooded with ICE agents. You are delusional or a liar.

Kristi Noem: "These are not just agitators anymore. They are violent protests. Frankly, this didn't turn violent until we uncovered the fraud in Minneapolis."

they are trying to use the ginned up "fraud" to justify all of this. Good luck with that, the truth it out.

There were seven agents on and around a pepper sprayed Pretti (who was face down with arms extended) for 11 seconds before the first shot was fired.

Apparently, the first shot was fired by an 8 year veteran of BP.

What the hell has BP been doing out in the desert when there aren't cameras around? How many executions have taken place?

He has been doing this 8 years and presumably hasn't killed someone in cold blood before, at least in public. Not a new recruit with no training. So what was he thinking? I am not trying to justify anything. Just purely curious.

Also, other than trying to block the appropriation bills, which doesn't sound like it would do much anyways, what else can democrats do?

And can Minneapolis bring charges against this guy (and the last guy?). I know feds are not cooperating but can they legally prosecute? It seems in this case, there is plenty of evidence to convict.

When the deceased man was struggling with federal agents, one of the agents saw his gun and yelled “gun”. I believe one of the agents removed the deceased man’s gun during the struggle, but not all of the agents knew that. When the agents are searching the man’s body after he passed, one of them is heard asking “where’s the gun?”

These are trying to do a dangerous job and have protestors/rioters constantly in their faces. They were faced with a man resisting arrest who possessed a gun. I believe that was their mindset.

So you conveniently going to disregard that man being beat in the face repeatedly by the one ICE(S), punched by another ICE(S) officer, and being held down by four others. That man had about 1,000 plus pounds pummeling and sitting on him, but you're calling this struggling. Frack people with this mentality. Go back to Iran PP

Is she trying to argue that everyone in the Twin Cities has been benefiting from fraud? Thousands of people have protested and monitored ICE.

She is such an idiot.

Actually you are wrong.

There are over 3000 ICE agents in Minneapolis right now. That is 5X the number of Minneapolis Police Department officers there are.

They are in Minneapolis because they are trying to foment unrest because 1) gov Walz 2) a young democrat liberal mayor 3) somalis because at the end of the day, they want the voter rolls so they can manipulate and steal the election in the state.

Are you in CA? Are they tear-gassing HS students in schools? Are they using children as pawns? Are they breaking your car windows when you drive by? Maybe Therein lies the difference.

Way more undocumented immigrants in Florida and Texas so anyone that thinks it’s about immigration in Minneapolis is fooling themselves.
Bondi sent a letter to Minnesota saying they’d leave if they released their voter base information.

Kash Patel: "You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have a right to break the law." (Pretti was carrying a gun legally.)

Guess these guys should have been executed too.

It’s not a dangerous job.

Law enforcement is a dangerous job, especially in this country where people are armed.

My DH was a LEO for 30 years dealing with gang members, drug dealers, crack warfare, and drugged out people. He never once shot anybody. Guess what, most of the people he accounted were armed and still he never had the need to shoot or murder anyone. And since he was a LEO in DC, he policed many angry and destructive protestors. He said it was murder from all the videos he has seen. Several former police chiefs are shaking their heads and are just short of calling it murder. It is a dangerous job, but not everybody can do it successfully as these ICE/CBP officers are showing the world. Bad policing is rampant because at this point the agency is hiring anybody with a pulse.

In the video you can tell that the ICE agent approached the victim and not the other way around. They don’t seem to be anywhere near an immigrant/suspect being detained.

Why is boarder patrol working in the country’s interior? Shouldn’t they be less than 100 miles from a boarder?
