Swimming in boxers

So a bit of a play off another threat.

My cousin was at the beach (he’s a 30 year old man, father of 2), and wanted to cool off in the ocean but didn’t have his swimsuit.

So he stripped down to his black Calvin Klein boxer briefs and jumped into the ocean.

Is this legal? Or just kinda odd? His wife gave him grief and I’m on the fence. It wasn’t like it was tightly whites

Better than a speedo.

Ha... for some reason there is a popup video right below your post that says "Happy Birthday Keanu Reeves" and I thought it was a reply to your post and it made me LOL.

I wouldn't think anything of this for black fitted boxers. If people are close enough to read them and realize they are underwear- he shouldn't be doing it but no harm no foul.

It's not ideal - but it is fine...

How is it any different than a jammer?

As long as they aren't loose boxers that would come down when he went in the water I see no problem with it whatsoever. I think women should swim in a sports bra and undies if they feel like it too.

Why not when many people wear their pajamas to Walmart.

No big deal at all.

Depends on how busy the beach is. Bethany on a holiday? No.

But if people aren’t generally close and it’s not busy I might run into and out of the water like that. Would I get an ice cream like that and strut around? No.

I'm a European who remembers when my father and all the men around me were in Speedos. If the material is thick enough, it's fine.

That was his wife concern - it’s no double layer nylon — it’s a thin layer of cotton.

It was a crowded beach, holiday weekend.

“Do you want to know what comes between me and my Calvins?”

My annoyed wife 🤣

But seriously it’s fine.

Why was he at the beach without swim trunks?

PP you replied to. So maybe it would be a problem when wet, depending on various considerations.

The fact they were black underwear probably hid anything.

Thing is, he had to leave the beach with wet underwear though. Very uncomfortable.

It's pretty hard to find a beach that doesn't have a place to buy a cheap suit within five or ten minutes away.
