I just finished Homecoming by Kate Morton - I enjoyed it very much. She is good at writing historical fiction juxtaposed with modern day and throwing in an intriguing mystery.

Jane Harper, Australian author. Great mystery writer, engaging characters and storylines. Start with "The Dry".
