People who do nothing all day

I get no paycheck, but I care for relatives, run the house, make sure our lives run as smoothly as possible with several people having ADHD, ASD.

I don’t do anything and it’s awesome. I don’t work, I don’t volunteer, and I don’t help anyone out outside of family. Most mornings I wake up not fully aware of what day it is. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

That's me. I volunteer intensively during the winter and spring, but do nothing in the summer and fall. I earn passive money in my stock portfolio, but do not have a salaried position.

And you know what? My health is better that way. I look and feel younger than my same-aged friends who are harried at work, and juggle childcare and parents on top of it. I can enjoy my life.

So no regrets here, OP.

^ I have teens and aging parents, BTW, but they're easier to manage without a high-pressure job. Sometimes in the winter, my volunteer work becomes intense, but it's OK, because I know there's an end date in the spring.
