| This new COVID sucks. Please test before you send your kids to school and it spreads. It starts out like a runny nose, but gets so much worse. |
| So, it’s ok you get it and spread it? |
| You haven’t figured out by now that covid hits everyone differently? |
Such a tired topic... |
| public health reminders aren’t old. Ever. Let’s see you roll your eyes at an STD or anti vaping ad. |
This is the attitude that made me leave teaching. It was bad enough when parents wouldn’t pick up their kids with fevers or send them to school with strep, but post COVID is at a whole new level. Good luck with that teacher shortage. |
| COVID is now an endemic condition. Keep kids home when sick as usual. Test if it brings you peace of mind but remember all tests will have false positives and negatives. |
| new covid? |
| The new strain ain't no joke. |
I was just wondering the same thing. |
| Yep, time for another booster, won’t be long before the kids start masking up again, time to go back to remote schooling. |
What does "so much worse" mean? |
+1 |
Major problem is parents Motrin their kids and send them in....not ok |

Here's another anecdote.
I am much less sick with new strain. NBD and I was pretty sick in summer 2022 with "old" covid, which is still not OG covid. This one was a cold for me. |
