Ceviche

Anonymous
Interested in making ceviche but would like to serve it as a main course- what would go well?

If it's better off as an appetizer, what would be a good entree to go after ceviche?

We make ceviche as a main dish frequently.

Ours is pretty simple, shrimp, calamari, halibut/tuna, red and white onion, cilantro, jalapeño, large cuts of steak tomatoe, salt pepper, lime & lemon, sometimes a small amount of liquid smoke (if using tuna)

We let it “cook” all together but when we serve we break the individual proteins out on a large platter and place sides between them. Sides are typically fried yuca, plantain chips, grape salsa, guacamole, small tortillas, potatoes bravas, tortilla etc.

Do all your guests like ceviche/raw-ish seafood? If you're not sure, safer to serve as an appetizer.
