| Does anyone know of any great Pro Bono Divorce Lawyers in the Washington DC area? |
| That’s … not how it works. |
+1 |
| If domestic violence is involved there are non profits that you can search for and many law schools have domestic violence project groups that will provide free legal advice too. |
No pro but low bono. I used https://www.dcaffordablelaw.org/. Good luck |
|
This is not why lawyers do pro bono work, OP.
Some will accept a payment plan. |
| What jurisdiction? Legal aid does family law if you meet their income requirements. DC has a self help center if the divorce is straight forward. |
| Does anyone know a dealership that gives free cars or a good steakhouse that gives free meals? |
| If you are low income and if there is abuse, Bread for the City has a great legal clinic |
| This is not really a thing. Some places do offer low cost classes on how to file, etc. |
Make sure it’s a great free car with the highest trim level |
+2. C’mon, OP. |

I echo what other PPs have said. If this is a case of domestic abuse, there are aid organizations.
https://www.lsnv.org/what-we-do/family-law/ You can also file your own divorce if you cannot afford an attorney. |
| I filed myself. Cost $84. |

There's no such thing as Pro Bono for divorces. 🫣 |
