If you travel internationally with your kids, what places have they loved?

| We are thinking about taking the kids on more international travel. I would love to get recs based on what your own kids actually loved. Include age and some of the things you did there. My 6 year old mentions wanting to go to France and Japan based on what they have learned at school. |

| DC loved Paris at 7 and 11. Liked London at 9. Loved Spain at 12, especially Valencia and Granada. DC also loved Munich, which is a great place to take kids. It’s a base for nature outings to nearby lakes and towns, it’s flat so biking is easy, it has the big central park, the beer gardens make dining out relaxing for everyone, etc. |

| When my older 2 kids were younger, we lived close to Japan and went there frequently. It is a truly amazing country to begin with, and especially when you bring your kids. It’s definitely a long haul, but if your DC has already expressed an interest, it would be an amazing place to visit. |

Youngest of my 3 boys is now 9.
They have loved most of our trips including: Scotland Rome London Ireland NZ Australia Morocco Spain Bahamas, St Lucia, Aruba - might have missed an island or two Current places they want to go internationally include: Paris Japan Egypt Iceland Italy (beyond Rome) Wales (IDK why just to finish GB perhaps?) South America (yes its a continent - various vague ideas they have for this) |
