Todays Ohio vote on Issue 1, whether to raise the threshold for a constitutional amendment from 50% to 60%, is a proxy for abortion since the Ohio legislature put the issue on the ballot to make it harder to pass an amendment protecting abortion rights in November. Polls closing shortly. Predictions? |
I don’t believe they want little lives to be terminated. |
I think they want women to be in control of their own bodies. |
70-30 so far for the pro-choice side. Wassrerman has already called it! |
I just came here for an update. Hoping OH holds the line with NO prevailing! |
Dominion machines? |
No, George Soros personally counts the votes in the basement of Comet Pizza. |
Most of us want adults in control of their own bodies. That means responsibly using actual birth control, rather than abortion to avoid having a child. If you don’t know what you’re doing, perhaps use two methods of birth control. |
Most of us don’t want idiots posting their ignorance all over the interwebs, yet here you are… also suck it. |
Not on board with abortion up until the moment of birth?
You’re a forced birther!!!!’ |
Sure that is ideal. And if that doesn't happen, it sure doesn't seem smart to force someone you deem irresponsible to birth an unwanted child. |
Yawn. Old and tiresome "argument" that everyone knows is silly because there is no such thing as "abortion up until the moment of birth." ![]() |
Then why do the antiabortion folks lose every single time this gets put to a popular vote, even in red states? |
Not to mention, the amendment in Ohio is just codifying roe.
Forced birthers have to lie, it’s all they’ve got. But anything to hurt women, amiright?!?!? |
