Do you love your children more than your pets?

I love my pets but I could go on without them and live a happy life. If something happened to my children, I would probably never recover or bounce back.

Lol yes. It is wild how quickly after having kids a dog becomes just a dog. Not to say the pet isn't loved or cared for but it is so different. I truly don't know anyone who feels differently.

I got a dog after the kid. I love my dog. Some days a bit more than the kid.

When your child is literally made from a physical piece of you, that means something.

Also a child has a much more complex relationship, but I can go either way

The love I have for my dogs though is very intense - like the way you feel about an infant or toddler.
Rationally of course the kids always come first.
