Possible update to the murder of Aryeh Wolf August 10, 2022 in DC

Last year Aryeh Wolf of baltimore was murdered while installing solar panels in DC. The suspect was a 27 year old named Avery Miler. In September police had him in a barricade situation but he escaped. There had been no updates other than an increasing award for tips. I did a Google search and found an obituary for an Avery Miler from DC in April who was 28. Why would nobody have reported on this? Is it possible this obituary is fake? I’ve never heard of the site and you’d think the police would have made a statement

I called dc’s non emergency line and they transferred me to homicide but nobody picked up

They could have closed the case without making a statement. I haven't followed the case very well, but even with no public statement, the victim's family should have been told by police.

No. I just found the obituary. Dc police already knew he was dead. Nobody announced it

“Remains found” sounds pretty grisly. He may have faced someone’s justice after all.
