At what point in the process did it happen?

Will drs tell you to stop trying naturally at some point?

We are in the beginning stages of seeing a RE and still getting all the initial evaluation done. Just curious about others’ experiences.

Not IVF, but I did a Hail Mary medicated IUI cycle with Gonal F that failed but I got pregnant naturally the very next cycle. I have zero evidence but I swear it had to do with the medication. We had male factor and I had tried all the ovulation timing, the lubricants, supplements, etc for years and never got pregnant naturally. Then this one cycle we quit trying it happened with nothing.

I did it. Miscarried at 9 weeks. 43 yo.if every month counts, i really f’ed up. Consider your age then decide.

This was my post. Natural pregnancy after 2-3 years of trying, multiple rounds/retrievals of IVF.

We got pregnant naturally after a year of trying with a sperm count that is in the infertile range (<1 million). The urologist said he's seen it before and that we would need IVF to conceive again and he turned out to be right. He said the counts go from low to zero.

Yes 3 chemical pregnancies. Once we had embryos we used birth control. Then I miscarried the fetus so waisted more time. They have no answers as to why I'm miscarrying.

3 rounds of IVF, last one was twins. Miscarried in Sept at 10 weeks and had a DNC. Emotionally exhausted and discussed donor egg. But decided to take a break. Day after Christmas, I was so tired and chilled, I thought I had the flu. New Year’s Day, I was still tired but never got the flu. On a whim, it did a pregnancy test and it was positive. I took 2 more because I didn’t believe it. My baby is now a teenager.

I got pregnant naturally before I was supposed to start IVF for #1. We were still very actively trying but not expecting it to happen. I was taking Advil for days to treat “pre-period cramps” before I realized I was actually pregnant. I had been trying a year at that point, in my twenties, and had three failed IUI. I have endometriosis and my husband had somewhat compromised morphology.

After seven months of ttc #2 we went straight to ivf and that was successful.

I got pregnant with a chemical during estrace priming. Had many more naturally conceived early losses after that, and multiple rounds of failed IVF. Eventually needed donor eggs.
