ACPS Exec Director Specialized Instruction—Replacement?

Does anyone have any info on why Terry Werner’s replacement has yet to be announced? I know some of the staff had a meet-and-greet with the 3 finalists a few months ago but have heard nothing since.

Not sure about whether a hiring decision was made but Werner, I believe, is still in the position until 8/31.

Werner is retiring but is still in the position until the end of the month.

I would say the problem with ACPS specialized instruction department is their focus is not on whether students with disabilities are actually educated but rather asserting legal positions on the minimum amount of services they legally need to provide under IDEA.

Based on last year’s org chart, this is D’Adoma’s role, not Werner.

I think her new permanent position is replacing Lora D'Adoma, but she's "acting" up to Werner's job?

Creed was hired to replace D’Adamo but was just appointed to acting Executive Director to replace Terry.
