Who is going to Kidz Bop at Wolf Trap on Sunday?

Anonymous
We sort of impulsively got tickets months ago and now I’m realizing I haven’t been in years and no longer know the drill - especially with kids in tow. Are you driving? Taking an Uber? I see gates open at 4:30 pm for a 6 pm show - are you going to get there and stake out space?

I’m going but have some similar questions. We’re most likely driving but trying to sort out timing. Watching responses!

Please help - anyone have tips?

I don't know for that show but there was just a recent thread on Wolf Trap (ignore the title and the OP's posts and skip to where people who like Wolf Trap start posting about where to park and when to get there. The thread is mostly focused on lawn seats but there are some other tips in there as well:

We did the Encanto sing-along last year, got there about an hour before showtime and had to squeeze into the back corner of the lawn. If you're trying to get a decent lawn seat, I would get there right when the gates open. Parking actually isn't bad, recommend the lot across from the venue as it's easier to get out after the show.

Just want to say that you are a good parent. That has to be a really painful show.

No. Get there before the gates open if you can if you have lawn seats. You want to be AT the gates at open, not parking or walking through security.

+1. You rock, OP.

Unless you’re planning to drink alcohol in Kidz Bop, which is kind of weird, I would not try to take an Uber back after. It’s a nightmare.

Take a look at the last pic to see what the lawn looked like for the Dispatch concert last weekend.

OMG the lawn looks crazy!!!!

I wasthisclose to buying Kids bop tickets and then I realized it would probably be super hot and crawling with kids so I opted out. I am not as good a mom as you OP.

It looks like lawn seats are sold out so I would get there are early as you can tolerate, but definitely before the gates open if you want to get a decent spot on the lawn.
