the roads in this area are very bad more accountability and transparency of what is being paid would motivate tax payers to press vdot to do more and stop wasting money and acting slow, so yes everyone should know exactly what they are paying and it not be hidden on a fee or gas tax

Seems reasonable to add some sort of fee for EVs, as we don't pay gas taxes, which -- even though they don't usually cover all road maintenance -- are as close as most states come to a use charge for roads.
