Yes, DCUM, I deserve your scorn. But I need your help. My wife's birthday is tomorrow, and I do not have a present. Please, give me your last-minute ideas!

Does she read? Can you buy her a new release book she'd like and a bottle of wine (or basket of her favorite snacks) and give that to her with a card saying she can spend the day reading and you'll take care of everything with the house and kids that day? I'd like that gift.

Here’s what I would love: massage gift card, garden center/nursery gift card. I desperately need new clothes, too, so a gift card to Nordstrom or Boden.

If you don’t want to do a gift card, go to Salt and Sundry and pick out virtually anything there.

Heck yes! Add a hotel overnight and spa gift certificate if you’re feeling fancy.

Nice add ons: Rub her feet. Make or order her favorite dinner.

Pull the weeds like you promised.

I’m not a gift person and doing chores would 100% be my favorite gift ever.

Instead I get earrings, but I pick them out.

Silk pillowcase and scented candle from Nordstrom and a gift certificate to a spa

Event tickets? Favorite comedian, a play maybe?

Flowers, spa gift card, dinner at her favorite restaurant.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions and parameters of what she likes, dislikes, budget, etc. Sounds like you know her about as well as we do.

Really this. My husband tries and always asks about nice dinners or going out. What I really want is for him to fix the running toilet OR to stop objecting when I try to call a plumber. Do you have anything like this in hour house?

If not, a nice dinner somewhere that’s different but not too much of a production to get to. I don’t want or need more stuff in the house and don’t want a gift card.

Get her car detailed - one of my favorite gifts ever! (Note, not a gift card that requires her to follow up. Either take her car for the day or have a mobile service come to your home)

Toilet poster and I would like this but good advice. I don’t want a gift card. I want him to take the car to get it done for me.

Hire someone to clean the oven and fridge / organize a garage or something. And make it so she doesn't have to be there to arrange or supervise any of it.
